Upcoming Motherhood Events
Navigating Life After Maternity Leave
Motherhood doesn’t end when maternity leave does. In many ways, that’s when a whole new set of questions begin to surface.
This evening series with A Mother Space and Tamsin Williamson is for mums navigating the transition back into work, identity, ambition and everyday life after having children. A space to pause, reflect and reconnect with yourself — alongside other women who truly get it.
Together, we’ll explore questions like:
How do I navigate the juggle without burning out?
What if the path I was on no longer feels right?
How do I build a life that supports both me and my family?
Each evening includes a focused theme, practical tools and honest conversation in a warm, down to earth environment. No pressure to share. No pressure to have it all figured out. Just space to think, reconnect and move forward with more clarity, confidence and intention.
Whether you come to one session or many, you’ll leave feeling less alone, more connected to yourself, and with meaningful shifts to support this next chapter of motherhood and life.

One of the biggest (and often least talked about) shifts after becoming a mum is the shift in your sense of identity.
You might feel different. Think differently. Want different things.
Parts of your old identity may no longer fit in the same way - and trying to squeeze back into them can feel frustrating, confusing, and disorientating.
The truth is, when you don’t feel clear or connected to who you are on the inside, it can become much harder to feel a sense of control, direction, or confidence in how your life is unfolding on the outside.
This session is designed to help you rebuild that relationship with the newly evolved version of yourself.
We’ll create space to gently explore who you are now - beyond the roles you play and the responsibilities you carry.
Together, we’ll make sense of the internal shifts that have taken place since having children, reconnect with the parts of you that still feel important, and begin to integrate who you were with who you’re becoming.
So you can move forward with more clarity, intention, and self-trust - and navigate work and life in a way that still feels like you, just in a more evolved way.
REDEFINING SUCCESS: THE AMBITION SHIFT
DATE: Thursday 24th September
TIME: 7:30-9:30pm
VENUE: The Retreat, N21 (address provided upon booking)
PRICE £40 - includes the session plus a drink
EARLYBIRD £36 - book by 5th Sept
After returning to work, many mums notice a shift in their relationship with success and ambition.
What once motivated you may no longer feel as energising. And trying to live up to old expectations can start to feel pressured or out of sync with the life you’re living now.
At the same time, there’s often a question bubbling underneath it all: “Now I have kids, am I still allowed to want more?”
This session is about giving yourself full permission to be ambitious - but on your terms.
Because ambition doesn’t have to disappear after kids… but it does get to evolve.
Together, we’ll explore what success and ambition really mean to you in this season of life - not based on who you used to be, or what you think you should want, but what genuinely matters to you now.
We’ll create space to let go of outdated definitions, step away from comparison, and reconnect with a version of ambition that feels aligned, meaningful and sustainable alongside motherhood.
So you can move forward with clarity, conviction, and a sense of direction that fits your life - rather than fights against it.
